I'm Here!!!!

After roughly 18 hours of labor and about 1 hour after the wonderful epidural, Drake Alexander Moricz entered the world on December 7th 2008 at 12:47 AM, weighing in at 5lbs 12oz and 20.5 inches long. We came home on Monday the 8th and besides a bout with jaundice he and mommy are doing fine. He amazes me every second.

We found a rocker I liked this weekend. So since the room is finally all done I thought I would finally post some pictures of his room. Only 5 and half more weeks to go. I can't beleive he will be here so soon but I can't wait to meet him and bring him home!

2nd 3/D Ultrasound at 30 weeks

Mr. Drake was not anymore cooperative this time around. But we did still manage to get som shots of part of his face again. He pulled his legs and feet up in front of his face and was hiding from us the whole time. It looked like he was trying to suck on his feet. Ewwww.....

Our Baby Shower

We had our baby shower on Saturday October 11th. We got a lot of really nice gifts for baby Drake. It turned out really nice with great food and great company. Thanks to everyone who attended. I hope you all had a good time. Here are some pictures from the big day!

3/D Ultrasound Pictures 28 Weeks

At 28 weeks on Monday October 6th, I went for a 4/D ultrasound. Baby Drake was not cooperating. We only seen a profile of his little face. The Tech had me get up and walk around to try to get him to move into a better position and move he did....he completely turned his back on us. Apparently he doesn't like getting his picture taken. He will have to get over that one real quick cause Mommy loves to take photos! The ultrasound was rescheduled for October 20th at 30 weeks since the Tech said they are usually more cooperative at that point and she should have better luck getting us a nice shot of his cute little face.

Our baby shower is this weekend. I am really excited and I promise to put pictures of the nursery up soon. I am waiting on Daddy to finish the closet and put the door up.

Our Nusery Bedding

This is the nurery theme and bedding we are going to go with for our little guy. I was very suprised and kinda happy when Dave didn't want to do an all sports room but he said we could do that when he gets older. I have loved this bedding since before I even knew I was pregnant and knew it was what I wanted if we had a boy.

The Big Ultrsound Day!

The little guy was pretty co-operative even though he was squirming around alot. The tech got a picture of him all scrunched up in a ball.

During the ultrasound I seen an arm out of context and asked the tech, "Is that what I think it is?" and she said, "No I'm not down that far yet." Then a few minutes later she said, "But thats what you think it is!" and we knew we were having a boy. Dave was very proud of the nice shot of his little man.
