Drake is a very expressive child. Some of the looks he gives are really funny and some of them let you know just exactly how he feels about what is going on or being told "No".

A Few of my Favorite Things

July has been a very eventful month for Mr. D. He managed to sit up on his own, started crawling, pulled himself up into a standing position and got his first tooth all in the span of a few days. I couldn't believe my eyes. He is growing up so fast I can't stand it. He loves the dogs toys and seems to prefer them to his own many educational toys we have picked out for him. He no longer wants anything to do with the activity centers that you sit him in he wants to be standing at all times. He chews on anything that comes near his mouth including the dog and now his crib. He loves his mommy and has just started to freak out everytime I leave the room. And for those of you who know Drake you know he loves to cry. He is intersted in everything I do, even folding laundry. He kept pulling the basket over wanting to see what was in it, so I put him in the basket with the clothes. He seemed to like it.

First tooth!

Mr. D finally cut his first tooth a couple weeks ago. He actually has two teeth now. But it took me forever to actually get a picture of them. A Grandma had to entertain him while I just snapped away and got lucky with a toothy smile.
